Mamas who Lunch – Philly

A few years ago it was placed on my heart to host an intimate annual event where moms could come together in a beautiful space, get dressed up, eat, laugh, be encouraged, and talk about all that comes with motherhood.  As we all know, motherhood is a beautiful blessing but also comes with its own challenges.  So it’s nothing like gathering together with other mamas who can relate!  I was finally able to put it together this year and it was everything I envisioned it would be!

The event took place at Paladar Latin Kitchen in King of Prussia, PA (a suburb of the Philadelphia area).  There were 20 ladies who attended with children who ranged from newborn to young adults.  We all had a blast

And after posting pics from the event on social media, I received a number of requests to bring it to other cities!  So the next stop is in Richmond, VA this summer and I plan to do one in DC/MD, Charlotte and Atlanta.

You know it’s funny how God works.  When I originally planned this, I had no clue it would turn into anything more than an annual event I host locally.  The response I got from this event blows my mind! But its just confirmation that I’m doing what the Lord wants me to do.  I am excited to keep it going and I pray each time I host this event in different cities, the mamas who attend always leave a little more encouraged on this motherhood journey than they came!

Here are a few pics from the event!

(P.S. I searched high and low for a dress that would match my theme lol… found this one on ASOS.com)
