Her Hands, Her POWER Challenge

Ok ladies … it’s time.

Time to finally tackle that project. You know the one…the half-painted dresser, the bathroom that’s been begging for new wallpaper, that DIY you’ve had saved on Pinterest since 2020.

We all have something we’ve wanted to do around our homes but keep telling ourselves, “I don’t know how,” or “That’s too much.” And honestly, I can totally relate to that as well. But not anymore.

This season, we’re flipping that story with the Her Hands, Her Power Challenge. It’s a call for 100 women (or more!) to step up, try something new, and prove to themselves just how capable they are.

And since the holidays are coming up, why not make your project something that fits right in? Maybe it’s finally creating that warm, welcoming entryway before guests arrive. Maybe it’s making a handmade gift for someone you love. Maybe it’s just doing something for you to start the new year with a little extra confidence and a whole lot of pride.

Here’s the deal:

Starting this Sunday, you pick a project. It can be big, small, messy, bold, whatever you want and commit to finishing it by December 31st. It could be hanging those shelves, refinishing a chair, painting a room, or finally learning to use that power tool that’s been collecting dust. Anything that will make you feel empowered and accomplished once you’re done!

Then:

1. Sign up using this Google Form so we know you’re in.

2. Work on your project or task. You have until Dec 31st to complete it.

3. When you’re done, email us your finished project or task at herhandsherpower@gmail.com. You can also DM us a photo/video of your finished project on Instagram if you would like it reposted on our page. But if you don’t want to put it on social, you don’t have to!

Your email with your completed project will be your entry into our New Year giveaway — where three winners will each get:

This challenge isn’t just about home projects, it’s about YOU. About realizing that you don’t need permission, or a team, or a YouTube degree to make something amazing. You just need your hands and a little bit of courage.

And we’re not leaving you hanging! Throughout the challenge, we’ll be sharing tips, tricks, and freebies on Instagram to help you get started (and keep going when that mid-project chaos hits). And you can email us with any questions you may have for help with your project. You can also DM on Instagram but sometimes they get buried in our inbox so we want to make sure we get your messages.

So as the year winds down and the holiday hustle starts up, be sure to carve out a little time for you. Make something with your own hands. Give yourself the gift of seeing what you’re capable of.
