10 Minute DIY Tassle Earrings

November 9, 2017

This past weekend I celebrated my 38th birthday.  I bought a black dress to wear out to dinner with my husband but I wanted some earrings that made a statement.  Since tassel earrings are really in now, I figured it would be easy to find what I was looking for but it wasn’t. So I did as any handy momma would, and decided to make them!

Materials only cost about $11 in total and took a little less than 10 minutes to make! These are sooo easy to make guys…Check out the tutorial.

First, gather your materials. You’ll need the following:

  • 2 Curtain tassels  (from your local fabric store)

  •   A pack of earring hooks & jump rings

  • Trim (I purchased mine from Joann’s)

  • Hot glue gun

STEP 1 :  Attach a jump ring and hook to tassle hook as pictured.

STEP 2 : Pull the string so the jump ring & hook  is close to top of tassle. Then use your hot glue gun to glue it down as pictured.

STEP 3 : Take your trim and hot glue it around the top of your tassle. Start from back.

All done! Enjoy your new earrings!
