Earlier this year, me & my friend Jasmine planned a momcation in Philly and it was everything! First let me say, I think every mom should plan a momcation…even if it’s just for 1 night!
So let’s get into how this came about. Jas lives in Houston and hadn’t been to Philly in years so we thought it would be perfect time for us to FINALLY meet in person (we were online friends for years but hadn’t met in real life yet). Her hubby actually surprised her with the trip and told her about it last Christmas! So sweet, right?
When he asked for hotel suggestions, I immediately thought of Kimpton Hotel Monaco. It’s such a cute hotel and in a great location in the city. Since we are both content creators, we thought it would be great to partner with them and show our communities how awesome it was to stay here!
Shall we start off with how swanky the lobby is! This pic doesn’t even do it justice.
Now let’s check out the room! I’m all about aesthetics and this room definitely checked the box for me! This is one of their King Corner Rooms and it was awesome. The bed was super comfy too which is extremely important for a staycation.
Now, let’s get into the bathroom! This tub and view was everything! Nothing like enjoying a nice bath (kid free lol). The shower was excellent too.
The hotel also has a restaurant attached to it called the Red Owl Tavern. We ate there a few times over the weekend… for brunch & dinner and it was good.
Since Jas hadn’t been to Philly in ages, we decided to do a little site seeing as well.
We had an absolute blast and I was sad to end the weekend but I can say I definitely left feeling recharged and ready to go back to mom life! 🙂
