I know it’s been awhile since I’ve written on my blog! I feel like sooo much has been going on! One thing I’ve been working on since the beginning of the year is DIY MakersCon. It’s a conference for women that celebrates, educates and gives a platform to creative entrepreneurs, DIYers, and makers of all levels of experience. It takes place on Saturday, September 29th in Camden, NJ. My partner, Terina Nicole and I have been working non stop to put this awesome conference together.
Being creatives ourselves, we were surprised to discover although there are similar creative conferences like this around the country, there were none that took place in the tri-state area. And we hadn’t heard of one the combines all the elements we are offering. We were also inspired to create this conference because of the lack o representation of women of color.
